Betty Moulton

Betty Moulton (President of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association VASTA 2016-18) has been an actor, voice teacher and coach for over 40 years in the U.S. and Canada. Teaching in professional actor training programs includes SMU, University of Washington, University of Victoria, and at the University of Alberta, where she also devised and ran the MFA program in Theatre Voice Pedagogy, training new voice specialists. She is now retired (Professor Emerita) and does private coachings with actors for dialects and audition preparation, and with business men and women for vocal challenges and presentation skills. Professional credits as company voice, speech and text coach/director include: various productions over 8 years, including Nevermore, Hunchback, The Soul Collector, Vigilante, Catalyst Theatre, Edmonton; Pride and Prejudice, As You Like It, The Three Musketeers, Little Women over 3 years coaching the Citadel Theatre/Banff professional training program, Banff/Edmonton; and 10 seasons for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (37 Shakespeare productions), Boulder, USA.
