Laurel Thomson

Founder of Unleash Your Speech Laurel shares the practice actors use to lend authenticity and strength in their performance to help professionals, managers and leaders who struggle against the fear of speaking publicly, find calm and ease in their bodies so they never miss an opportunity to articulate their message with confidence and make the impact they desire. Head of Voice at the National Theatre School of Canada and award-winning actor at the Stratford Festival, she has had the privilege of working with everyone from Inuit performers and Drum Dancers from Nunavut to managers on Mercedes DTM team in Germany.

She holds an MFA in Theatre and a Diploma in Voice Teaching at York University and is a recipient of a Tony Guthrie award. She is passionate about helping people experience confidence at a physical level so they are free to be the leader they know they are.
