Matthew Rossoff

Based in Tkoronto, Matthew is a sought out interdisciplinary educator and artist with a diverse background in voice, speech, movement, and musical theatre choreography and direction. Matthew is a Designated Kristin Linklater Voice Teacher and has been an adjunct voice faculty member at some of Ontario’s top institutions: Toronto Metropolitan University - The Creative School, York University, Brock University, Sheridan College, and Randolph College for the Performing Arts. His academic service includes serving on the National Voice Association Board of Directors - 2024-2026, VASTA@ATHE Focus Group Representative - 2023-2024, and has presented his research at Theatrical Arts Education Association (Toronto, ON), Musical Theatre Educators’ Alliance (Atlanta, GA), Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA) and Association for Theatre of Higher Education (Detroit, Austin, Virtual). Performance credits span from Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, and The Stratford Festival. Matthew is the creator of Body Presence Workshop and a co-director of the Embodied Voice Collective. Matthew holds an MFA in Performance with an Emphasis on Teaching (Voice) from York University. Currently, Matthew is a Resident Choreographer and Dance Supervisor for The Walt Disney Company and Disney Cruise Lines.
