Sarah Weatherwax

Sarah Weatherwax is an Actor, Designated Linklater Voice Teacher, VO & Communication Skills Coach. After receiving a BFA in Acting from Emerson, she began her acting career, which led to her interest in teaching voice. She received a generous grant from the Canada Council for the Arts to train with the renowned Kristin Linklater. Sarah has taught voice for more than 20 years, working in numerous studios and schools, including Shakespeare & Company, Straeon Acting Studios in Toronto, Montreal & Boston, Brock University, Humber College and Meisner Academie in The Netherlands. Sarah has extensive experience as a theatre and voice actor. She narrated the audiobook, Under the Bridge by Anne Bishop. Sarah teaches communication skills workshops to lawers, doctors and executives and she has an on-going private practice. Her group classes are offered both in person in Toronto and online for her worldwide clients. In 2020 her article 'The Ripple Effects of a Free Voice' was published in VASTA'S Voice & Speech Review. She has also written a number of short stories, one of which was long-listed in an international competition, and one short-listed.
