Voicing the Future of Canada.
The National Voice Association/Association Nationale de la Voix (NVA/ANV) advocates for the teaching, coaching, and training of professionals dedicated to the speaking voice.
We celebrate the cultural power of embodying language and keeping oral storytelling alive in a digital age.
What Drives Us

Equity & Inclusion
We uphold equity, diversity, and inclusion as our foundational values, ensuring every voice has a safe space to be heard.

Uniquely Canadian
We are a bilingual organization that bridges the gap between diverse regions, celebrating the distinct pedagogies found across Canada.

Oral Tradition
In an increasingly digital world, we are a niche community dedicated to preserving the human connection of live storytelling.
Our History

2026
Looking West
As our community continues to grow, we expand westward to Calgary for our next major gathering, strengthening our presence as a truly coast-to-coast Canadian organization.

2024
Beginnings
We hosted our inaugural conference at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario—an enriching weekend of exchange, learning, and connection that laid the foundation for our future growth.

2021
Taking Flight
The National Voice Association was founded to create a national network where practitioners could connect across disciplines and engage in meaningful dialogue around the speaking voice.
